To be eligible for a refund/ exchange on returning an item or items, the item must meet the below criteria:

  1. a.) Product must be unused, unworn, unwashed, unaltered and undamaged.
  2. b.) Product must be returned with all tags attached in its original condition along with all packing material, courier receipt, invoice and other papers, if any.
  3. c.) Damaged or soiled products will not be accepted.
  4. d.) Gift cards/vouchers are non-refundable. Gift wrapping charges will not be refunded if goods are returned.
  5. e.) Customized articles are not eligible for return or exchange. A solid pack combo is eligible only for return.

REFUNDS FOR FREE PRODUCT DEALS:
Any items purchased during a Sale Buy 1 Get 1 Free or any other such promotions wherein free products are included, such orders will not be eligible for any returns or exchanges. 

RETURN PROCESS:
1.) Visit our website at www.melangebox.com and navigate to the Returns/Exchanges section or click here. 
2.) Simply put your order ID and E-mail/Phone Number, and then select item(s) you wish to return or exchange.
3.) We will verify your request and generate the reverse pickup automatically.
4.) Keep the item(s) securely in their original packaging, do not remove any brand tags and ensure they are in the same condition as when received.
5.) Hand over the package to our courier partner. Please make a small video while handing over the shipment with products clearly visible and also ask the courier person's name, company name and contact number before handing over the shipment to him/her. These details might be required in case of any fraudulent activity.
6.) Once we receive the returned product, our team will inspect it to ensure it meets the return eligibility criteria mentioned above.
7.) If the product passes the inspection, we will initiate the refund process within 2-3 working days.

MODE OF REFUND:
•   For COD orders, a coupon code will be provided within 48 business hours once the shipment returned is received and QC is done. Please note, cash on delivery charge is non-refundable.
•   For prepaid orders, the refund can be processed to original payment source or to Melangebox Account as a credit code.
•   Please note that a shipping and handling cost of INR 200 will be applicable in case of refund to original payment source.

SELF-SHIPPING OF ORDER FOR RETURN/EXCHANGE:
In case your pin-code is non-serviceable for a reverse pick up, you’ll have courier the product(s) to the following address:

  • Please ensure the items are packed securely to prevent any loss or damage during transit and the Order Id and registered mobile number is mentioned on the packaging. All items must be in unused condition with all original tags attached and packaging intact. Within 48 hours of receiving the product(s), the order amount + 100 Melangebox Credits (in lieu of courier charges) will be refunded to your bank account in case of prepaid and in the form of coupon code in case of COD.

    PLEASE NOTE: We recommend using ‘Speed Post’ for self shipping. It is a Government of India owned entity and has the most widely distributed postal network in India.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

  • 1.) Bank account details provided by the customer would be final and any error in the details provided by the customer would not be the responsibility of the brand.
  • 2.) If you have received an SMS or EMAIL of order delivered status and if it's not received by you, please email or contact us within 24 hours.

  • 3.) The customer is obligated to take utmost care of the product(s) whilst the products are in their possession. This includes all of the product(s) instructions, documents and wrappings while returning the product(s) in the same condition as received.

In circumstances where the customer feels that the product does not conform to the standards at the time of delivery, they shall promptly contact us via our mail hello@melangebox.com with details of the product and its damage within 24 hours of receiving the products; whereon, the customer will receive instructions from us.
  • Upon return of the product, we will fully examine it and notify the customer of their right to a refund (if any) via e-mail within a reasonable period of time. We aim to process the refund as soon as possible and, in any case, within 30 working days from the day, we confirmed to the customer via e-mail that they are entitled to a refund.

 

We have updated our Returns & Exchange policy. The same is in effect starting July 8, 2023.

We offer 7 days hassle-free returns & exchange from the date of delivery.

Pick-up will be attempted twice. If the courier company is unable to pick up the shipment, you will have to send the shipment back to the company address. Reverse Pick Up is subject to availability of the service in your area pin-code.

Please return your product(s) in the same condition as it was shipped. If the products are returned in poor condition or have clearly been worn, a refund would not be provided.

Cancellations will only be possible till the order has not been dispatched from our warehouse. In case of cancellation on delivery, a charge of INR.100 will be deducted from the refund value.

To maintain strict hygiene standards of our products, we do not accept returns on several product categories, especially masks . Melangebox may, at its discretion and without prior notice, change the products or categories to which this policy would apply.

Once a order is exchanged and is delivered, no further actions such as exchange or refund would be applicable on that order.

Any order for which the mode of payment is credits which have been issued for a previously returned order (partial/full) is not eligible for return.

1. Are there any charges for exchange?

No, there is no additional charge for exchange.

2. What's the process of placing an exchange request?

3. How long it will take for my order to arrive?

The order usually takes 5-10 working days to reach any metro and tier 1 cities. However, it might take additional time for some pincodes. In case of delay, please write to us at hello@melangebox.com

4. How would I know if my order is placed?

A confirmation e-mail and SMS will be sent to registered email id and phone number respectively. Besides, you will be notified once the order is dispatched from our warehouse.

5. What happens if my order doesn't reach me on time?

In case the order doesn't get delivered within 7-10 days, please write to us at hello@melangebox.com. We will do our best to assist you in this regard and make sure it gets delivered at the earliest.

6. Are there any shipping charges on delivery?

Prepaid Orders: We offer free shipping across India on orders above ₹699. A minimal fee of ₹61 only is applicable on orders below ₹699.


COD Orders: For COD orders, an additional charge of ₹100 is applicable on orders above ₹699 and ₹198 is applicable for orders below ₹699. Our aim is to provide great quality in affordable pricing and logistics in India is one hurdle we found in achieving that goal. Analyzing the distrust Indian Customers have for new brands while shopping online, they charge hefty amount for COD and with each shipment which is cancelled on delivery, their profit doubles. Outcome is that Indian Brands have to increase their product price and in the name of free shipping, they also try to get some advantage out of it. This is the reason you will get comparable quality products but in double the price at other stores. To be honest, we recommend to choose prepaid payment method for faster delivery, hassle free returns and refunds. Also, this is how you can also contribute in making Digital India.❤️

7. Do we deliver abroad ?

At the moment, we are not delivering outside India. However, you can place order from anywhere in the world as long as the shipping address is within India.

8. How do I select the correct size for me?

While placing the order you will find an option for Size Chart on the product page which includes detailed information on sizes and fit. You may click on the same and find your perfect size.

9. What should I do if my payment fails? 

In most cases, the payment gets credited back to your account automatically within 3-5 business days. In case it does not, please mail us the details of your transaction, registered email and contact at hello@melangebox.com. We will verify and get back to you at the earliest.

10. I have received a delivery confirmation email/ message but I have not received the shipment?

You are requested to track your package regularly once your receive the shipping details from us. If you have received an SMS or EMAIL of order delivered status and if it's not received by you, please email or contact us within 24 hours.

As per the recent update in courier companies policies throughout India, you are required to inform us within maximum 48 hours if your package isn't delivered but shows delivered in the tracking for us to help you with the same. The courier company is not accepting any complaints post 48 hours marked delivery, and we will not be liable if there is a delay in informing from your end.

1. How do I cancel my order?

To cancel an order, please email hello@melangebox.com within 12 hours of placing the order. In-case the order is cancelled post shipping, a charge of INR.100 will be deducted from refund value.

2. How to place a return and refund request?

3. What happens to order if product recieved is in damaged condition?

We try our best to deliver the best quality checked products but in case of any unfortunate event of delivery of a damaged or defective product, please write to us at hello@melangebox.com within 24 hours of delivery. We request you to share the image of the product within 24 hours of receiving it. In-case you fail to intimate about the same, return might not be processed.

4. What if product received is different from the product ordered?

We try our best to deliver the right products within time, however in a few rare cases if you receive a different/ wrong product, please share the image of the product delivered along with the order number with us at hello@melangebox.com within 48 hours of delivery so that we can coordinate a replacement for it.

5. When will I get a replacement after placing the request?

The replacement will be processed within 48 business hours once the shipment returned is received and QC is done. It may further take 5-7 business days to be delivered to you post shipping.

6. Can all items be returned?

Except masks and any customized product, all our products are returnable.

7. When will I get my refund?

It takes 7-10 days for a product to arrive at our warehouse after the reverse pickup is done. Once we receive the product returned and the QC is done, the refund or exchange is processed within 48-72 business hours.

8. How to get refund for discounted items?

In case of orders placed with discount is returned, the amount paid will be refunded only as store credits.

9. How do I get my refund for prepaid orders?

For prepaid orders, the mode of refund depends on your choice while placing the return. It can be processed to original payment source or to the Melangebox Wallet.

10. How do I get my refund for cash on delivery orders?

Once the product(s) reaches our warehouse and passes QC, a coupon code worth the product value will be sent to your registered email which can be used in under 30 days from the issuance of the coupon code.

11. How to check the status of my returned order?

It takes 7-10 days for a product to arrive at our warehouse after the reverse pickup is done. Once we receive the product returned and the QC is done, the refund or exchange is processed within 48 business hours.
